Hello! It’s been a while, but I come bearing content. Until recently, my JACKABY short story “The Map” was available through most eReader sites for free. Apparently, when Workman was acquired by Hachette, a number of free digital works were discontinued, and “The Map” was among them.
I have gotten approval from my publisher, however, to share it here for anyone who might be interested in reading it online or downloading it for free personal or educational use. (My apologies that the formatting is rather less polished than it would have been, but please enjoy!)
(Chronologically, “The Map” falls somewhere in the nooks and crannies between books 1 & 2.)
